Round 2 saw the Pies back at KGV looking to make it 2 on the trot against Kingborough. Brad Lovell won the toss for the Knights and decided to have a stick on what looked to be a standard KGV wicket.

The Old Chine didnt mess around and picked up Brady jones for Zip in the first over, before announcing to us all that he has has got jones 5 times for about 4 runs, and continued on talking about himself until we all walked back to our positions.

The bowlers did a great job and restricted the Knights to 9/187 off their fitty despite a random dude making 100no.

Sean McGuire was the pick of the bowlers with 3 poles, Sooky Lerossignol and Diesel Matthews were also handy with 1/25 and 2/28 off their 10 overs respectively.

The Wow Dilger show wasnt to be and all of the 4 strong crowd left as soon as Dilgs went for 2 in the first over trying to bomb Ranbuild Maher into Northgate. Myself and Diesel then got together for a 116 run 3rd wicket stand which set up Twiggy Cartledge to finish the job off.

Rowdys 49 was an awesome innings and showed good patience before the twiggster thought hed run him out cold leaving him short of the mini milestone.

The Pies chased the runs down easy in the end and was a good team effort.2 from 2 for the Norchy Boys and Egg is frothing at the mouth at the thought of some finals action this year.

Let not get ahead of ourself, but how many beers would that man drink if we were the last team standing at the end of the season!
